Cheryl L. Bruno served in the great Canada Montreal Mission, completed a BS degree in Physical Education and Recreation from Greensboro College, and did graduate work in Education Psychology at BYU. She taught Health and PE at Prince Sultan University in Saudi Arabia, organizing the country’s first university level women’s basketball team. Other than that, her work experience has been limited to High School and summer league swim coaching, and teaching swim lessons to tiny tots. Most of her life-force has gone to callings such as Seminary teacher and Cub Den mother, and picking up after 8 children of her own. Research interests include 1840s Church history and Mormon fundamentalist movements. Recreation interests include reading and writing poetry and all water sports. She has lived and been immersed in 19 wards throughout the Church, and currently lives in Redmond, WA.
